Generator Maintenance and Safety Reminder

It is recommended by all Generator manufacturers that annual preventative maintenance should be performed on your generator. As with anything mechanical, there is always a possibility of a failure. Our goal is to make sure that when you need it, your generator will come on. This does not guarantee that your generator will never have a failure, but being proactive on repairs can reduce the

frequency of failures when you need it most.

It is important that you check the status of your generator periodically especially PRIOR to severe weather impacting your area. Any codes, alarms, or flashing lights should be reported to us immediately. If you are on propane gas, you should check the tank percentage and get it refilled if necessary.

If you wish to proceed with one of the following options listed below, please do so by checking the box, sign, and date. Please be sure to mail this agreement back to us with your check so that we may add you to the calendar.

If you prefer to pay with a credit card, we accept Visa, MC, AmEx & Disc. However, there is a 4% fee.

1.) Complete check-up and cleaning of the generator equipment.

2.) Inspection of:

• All fuel lines for wear, cracks, and leaks
• Exhaust system for safety and leaks
• Clean cooling fins, wire brush, and paint as needed
• Check electrical wires for frays and connections for corrosion
• Check fuel filter, battery, and gravity of cells/connections
• Control box wiring
• Voltage frequency settings
• Replace oil and oil filter (once a year)
• Check/adjust valve clearance as needed
• Check the leveling of the generator and proper drainage
• ATS Inspection

3.) LIQUID COOLED UNITS ONLY – Maintenance for liquid-cooled units is an additional $100.00 to the prices listed below. We highly recommend a radiator flush every 5 years. This includes a sensor and block heater. There will be an additional charge for this service. Price varies depending on the size of the generator.

4.) This Agreement includes what is listed above only. Items not included are blown fuses, tripped breakers, replacement of batteries, or any acts of God.
